Handle it like you would want to be broken up with in that situation. Sit him down and tell him gently.
tell him face to face. be nice about it and tell them why you have decided to end it. alot of people wonder why the relationship has ended so its good to tell them why.
Be straightforward, but be gentle. Use some tact, but do it face to face. If you don't, you will just seem like a wimp.
If he doesn't have a job, just start demanding him to pay rent. Then he will beat it back to his parents lickity split.
