How do you break up with someone whose been your first proper relationship?

Where I live is just upgrading to public transport so our dates often involve getting rides by taxi [expensive] or with parents to the local mall, to my place or or going down to the creek. We've been dating 6 months and got crazy close but Im not happy anymore, keep getting annoyed whenever we talk to one another%26amp;just fought throughout the summer and its senior year now, I dont need that stress! All his exs have cheated on him and dumped him, but I do wanna the option to stay mates how should I break up with him? where should I do it?Etc.


Do you think I should go for one last date or is that just selfish :/How do you break up with someone whose been your first proper relationship?
it is not selfish, be honest and tell him that you do not want to hurt him, however you feel a friendship would better suit you at this time
