DEVASTATED!!! boyfriend broke up to get married to someone else tomorrow!!!?

my cousin's boyfriend of 3 and a half years just broke up with her a couple of months ago - he had led her on, she thought they were going to get married!- but only to find out right after that he is with someone else and now she found out another big bomb - he is getting married to her tomorrow!





she is extremely devastated and i don't live in the same state as her but i still want to say something, i want to be there for her but i am left speechless!! how do you comfort someone in this situation?

I know she is hurting but she should be thanking her lucky stars that she did not marry that rat. This could have a happened after they were married! I feel sorry for who ever he is marrying.


I went throug ha bad relationship with a cheater right before I met and married the most wonderful guy. She may not believe it now but she will meet and marry someone wonderful.


Tell her to start getting back out and practice pushing him out of her mind. Go out and have a good time and maybe you 2 can visit? There isn't a whole lot you can say to her that is going to have much effect, sadly. This is a huge blow and she's going to be quite sad for a long while, as anyone would be. The best you can do is keep an open channel of communication. Be there for her when she wants to talk, and let her know you love her and keep her in your thoughts when she doesn't. Time will take care of the rest.
She should be glad she found out now instead of after they were married. He obviously wasn't as connected to her as she thought.
