How do you handle living with someone after breaking up with them?

I just broke up with my boyfriend of 2.5 years. We live together and neither of us have anywhere else to go, as we are not native to this part of the country and our friends and family are elsewhere. I'm concerned about possible causes of friction for the next 2 months (until the lease expires). We'll see each other this evening for the first time after having reached this difficult decision and I'm hoping to find out if there's anything I need to know.


I know this can be done, as I have friends who have dealt with this situation. I'm just worried about how to handle it.How do you handle living with someone after breaking up with them?
